Woman missing in Miles area

Police are seeking help from the public to locate a 72-year-old woman missing from the Miles area since 27 August.

Joyce Capon was believed to be travelling north between Miles and Guluguba and in the surrounding areas of the Gurulmundi State Forest and Pelham.

Ms Capon is believed to be driving a White Fiat Ducato camper van with Queensland Registration 715WLQ.

The vehicle is towing a silver Suzuki Jimny with Queensland Registration 074MF3.

Police and family have concerns for her welfare as she has a medical condition requiring medication.

Ms Capon is described as proportionate build, grey/blonde hair, Caucasian appearance with fair skin.

It is not known what she was last wearing.

Police are appealing for Ms Capon, or anyone with information about her whereabouts, to immediately come forward.
